About this catalog

WanderAtlas is an independent travel guide published in Indonesian and English. It currently holds 38 destination guides, 12 route and itinerary features, and 10 event calendar entries. This homepage shows editor's picks only; the full catalog lives on the destinations, features, and event calendar pages, each filterable by continent.

Every destination guide follows the same structure so guides stay comparable: best time to visit and why, daily budget estimates in local currency and rupiah, key highlights, food recommendations, transport options from the airport and around town, practical tips, an FAQ, and a summary of details such as plug types and tipping norms. The route features answer a different question — how to string several places into a trip that actually works.

The perspective we write from is that of an Indonesian passport holder: entry categories, cost ranges in rupiah, and realistic flight routings from Jakarta or Denpasar. For readers from elsewhere the destination information still applies, but the visa sections need re-checking against your own passport, since the rules differ by nationality.

Prices, schedules, and travel rules change through the year, so every figure here is written as a range rather than a quote. Confirm with official sources before booking anything non-refundable. If you find something inaccurate, send a correction through the contact page — the fix gets logged on the editorial notes page.
