Partnerships & collaborations

Updated 30 July 2026

WanderAtlas is open to partnerships with tourism boards, accommodations, experience operators, and brands whose products are relevant to travel readers. This page outlines the types of collaborations we offer, the boundaries we do not cross, technical specifications for materials, and the workflow from proposal to publication. All partnerships operate under one principle: readers must always be able to distinguish editorial content from paid content.

Available partnership formats

We offer four proven partnership formats on this site. Each involves a different level of editorial input, and we’ll recommend the best fit after reviewing your campaign goals.

We prefer a few high-quality collaborations over many shallow placements that add no value for readers.

  • Sponsored guide: an in-depth guide to a single destination or theme, clearly labeled as sponsored content
  • Brand partnership: ongoing collaboration for travel products that resonate with our readers
  • Destination feature: editorial coverage produced at the invitation of a tourism board or area management
  • Affiliate links: booking or product links with commission, always disclosed as affiliate
  • Data provision: supplying information on fares, schedules, or event calendars

Disclosure policy and editorial independence

All paid content is clearly labeled at the top of the page—not hidden in footnotes. Partners may suggest topics, publication dates, and key points, but ratings, drawbacks, and practical warnings remain at the editor’s discretion.

We do not accept requests to remove factual information that may harm a product or destination’s image, and we do not sell rankings in recommendation lists. If a request conflicts with this policy, the partnership will be terminated and any unused fees refunded.

  • Sponsored content labels appear before the body text, not at the end
  • The editorial team retains final say on content, perspective, and practical warnings
  • Rankings and recommendation positions are never sold in any form
  • Affiliate links are disclosed and do not influence our evaluations
  • Requests to remove accurate facts will be declined

Format and content specifications

Sponsored guides typically range from 800 to 1,200 words, following the same structure as our editorial guides—because that structure is what makes pages useful and discoverable. Visuals should be submitted in a minimum width of 1600 pixels, JPG or WebP format, with written confirmation of usage rights.

We do not use disruptive animated content or embed third-party tracking scripts in the body text. Outbound links include attributes that comply with search engine guidelines for paid content.

  • Sponsored guide: 800 to 1,200 words, following the editorial guide structure
  • Images: minimum 1600 pixels wide, JPG or WebP, with written usage rights
  • No moving ads, pop-ups, or tracking scripts embedded in the body text
  • Paid links use attributes that comply with search engine guidelines
  • Image alt text must be filled for reader accessibility

Workflow and estimated timeline

The process starts with a brief proposal email, followed by scope discussion, draft writing, one round of factual revisions, then publication. For a single sponsored guide, allow roughly two to three weeks from agreement to publication, depending on data availability and feedback speed.

Revisions are for correcting facts, name spellings, and technical details—not for removing editorial assessments. We’ll notify you of the publication date in advance so you can adjust your schedule.

  • Send your proposal with a subject line containing the word Partnership and your brand name
  • Include campaign goals, target regions, deadlines, and budget range
  • One round of factual revisions is included in the standard scope
  • Estimated two to three weeks from agreement to publication
  • A simple performance report can be provided if requested upfront

What we don’t accept

Some partnership categories are rejected without negotiation because they risk harming readers or violating regulations. This applies even to high-value offers, and we’ll briefly explain the reason.

The following list isn’t exhaustive, but it covers the most common cases we receive by email.

  • Visa processing services guaranteeing results or using falsified supporting documents
  • Offers to buy/sell links in bulk or place links without contextual content
  • Gambling, guaranteed-return investments, and unlicensed financial products
  • Content asking us to hide safety risks or hidden costs
  • Requests to remove or alter editorial guides as a partnership condition
  • Selling reader data or installing trackers without clear justification

How to contact us

All partnership inquiries go through one channel: email hello@insight-travel.my.id, so no offers get missed. Include a brief organization profile, your official website link, and one concrete collaboration proposal; requests that only ask for rates typically take us longer to respond to.

We reply to every clear and relevant offer, even if the answer is a no. We do not make cold calls and never request payments to personal accounts.
