Contact & corrections

Updated 30 July 2026

All communication with WanderAtlas runs through a single editorial email address: hello@insight-travel.my.id. We use one channel to ensure no messages get lost across multiple platforms, and so every factual correction can be tracked to completion. This page explains the types of messages we handle, how to write them for faster processing, estimated response times, and what falls outside our scope. Reading the service limits section first will save you time.

Types of questions we handle

We respond to messages directly related to our site content and editorial work. Fact corrections are our top priority, as they impact other readers.

New destination suggestions, media inquiries, and partnership offers also go to the same address—just clarify the purpose in the email subject. Clear, specific messages are almost always answered faster than vague introductions without context.

  • Fact corrections for destination guides, articles, or event calendars
  • Suggestions for new destinations or guide themes we haven’t covered yet
  • Partnership offers, sponsored content, and data collaborations
  • Media requests, quotes, or clarifications about our writing
  • Technical issue reports, such as broken links or pages failing to load

How to write a message for faster processing

Start with a subject line that names the message category, then include verifiable context in the body. For corrections, provide the page link, quote the incorrect sentence, explain what’s accurate, and attach an official source for comparison.

For destination suggestions, name the city or region and give two or three concrete reasons why it’s worth covering. No large attachments needed—links are sufficient.

  • Begin the subject line with Correction, Suggestion, Partnership, Media, or Technical
  • Include the exact page link, not just the destination name
  • Quote the problematic sentence and attach an official source link for comparison
  • Avoid large attachments—just send file links
  • One topic per email to keep responses organized

Estimated response times

We’re a small team, so replies aren’t instant. For general questions and suggestions, expect two to four business days.

Fact corrections with official sources are usually handled faster—often within one to two business days—since fixes can be applied immediately. Partnership offers take longer, around one business week, as they require alignment with our editorial policies.

  • General questions and destination suggestions: two to four business days
  • Fact-checked with official sources: one to two business days
  • Partnership offers: about one working week for initial assessment
  • Replies may be slower during national long holidays

What we can’t help with

Some requests fall outside our services, and it’s fairer to be upfront than to leave your email unanswered. We do not book or cancel tickets and hotels, handle travel documents, or provide paid personal visa consultations.

We also cannot assess someone’s visa approval chances, as that authority rests with the destination country’s embassy. For such matters, contact a licensed service provider, official agent, or the destination’s representative.

  • Do not process bookings or cancellations for tickets and accommodation
  • Do not provide visa processing services or paid personal consultations
  • Do not assess visa approval chances based on personal documents
  • Do not give medical, legal, or financial advice for specific cases
  • Do not accept requests to remove accurate facts from our guides

Reporting errors in the guide

If you spot an updated fare, changed opening hours, or a permanently closed attraction, a brief report helps future readers. Email with the subject line **Correction**, include the page link and the sentence needing revision, and attach an official source if available.

After verification, the guide is updated, the page’s last-updated date changes, and substantial corrections are logged on the editorial notes page. Reporter identities are not published unless you explicitly request it.

  • Email subject: Correction, followed by the destination name or page title
  • Attach an official source to complete verification in a single round
  • Corrections update the last-updated date on the relevant page
  • Reporter identities are not published unless requested

Message privacy and security

Your email content is used only to follow up on your message and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Please do not send sensitive data such as passport scans, card numbers, or personal financial documents—we don’t need them and do not provide a dedicated encrypted channel for such information.

We never ask for passwords, verification codes, or payments via personal accounts. If anyone claims to represent WanderAtlas from a different address, consider it unofficial and let us know.
